Meet Chance! This sweet 2-year-old Border Collie mix came to us after suffering abuse and a severe hip injury. Despite everything he had been through, we saw something special in this sweet boy: determination. We knew Chance deserved a chance to heal, so we sent him for the complicated hip surgery he needed. But surgery was only the beginning. His recovery required weeks of low-impact rehabilitation, and our team worked with him every step of the way to help him regain his strength and reach adoptable status. One of Chance's favorite parts of rehab? Swimming! Luckily, this determined boy absolutely loves the water. Chance never gave up, and neither did we. Chance will still need someone dedicated to providing low-impact exercises for him. You can find him spending his afternoon in one of the offices at the shelter.
