I LOVE being in a home! You see I lived for who knows how long on the streets of Dallas, TX. By a stroke of luck, I found my way headed north on a transport to JRs. I must have been in a home at some point because I am house trained and go into a crate very nicely. I really love my crate and my foster family will find me sleeping in there a lot with the door open.
My foster mom says I'm very quirky which is endearing. I love to steal the blankets and put them all together and then nest in them.
I am very gentle. I take treats nicely and love attention, but I'm never rude about it.
I walk great on a leash and LOVE going for walks. I am getting to be a pro in the car. My foster dad has taken me to some outings at the park with the dogs in the family. I love sniffing around and following my new friends around.
My foster family pet sits out of their home, so I've met A LOT of dogs since I've been here. I prefer dogs that aren't in my face but I have gotten along with everyone. I could live with other dogs, but I'd be OK being by myself as well. I love my people. I will gently put my paw up when I want some affection. I have seen cats at a rescue outing and didn't really pay much attention to them.
Lastly, don't let my gray face fool you. The shelter said I'm 5 years old based on my teeth. The rescue believes that I have had at least 1 litter if not more probably on the streets of Dallas. All of the living I've done has given me some gray. I am learning to play. I love to get toys and run and hide them in my crate. I am a silly girl.

All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. As required by Wisconsin Act 90, all dogs will have received a veterinarian exam (CVI) within the past 30 days.
Our adoption process requires the submission of an application. Applications and Adoption Rules can be found on our website, on the "HOW TO ADOPT" tab at JRsPupsNStuff.org. Upon receipt of the completed application, we will process the application including: contact with your veterinarian and completion of a home visit. Please be sure to include the contact information for your vet as we will call. If your vet requires an information release, please be sure to contact them as soon as you submit your application. We are a group of volunteers with families and jobs, so please be patient and allow a few days for our response.
