Bernard is a 7 year old 72 pound dog looking for a loving home! Bernard enjoys zooming around with a toy in his mouth, playing tug-of-war, and leaning in for a good butt scratch. He's a very friendly guy who's ready to join you on your next trip to the park or the couch. His previous family said that he was house trained and would hold his bladder until he went outside.
Bernard has been to offsite events and furloughs (doggy day out) and has been reported to be an excellent, well mannered boy. He loves to meet new people and will usually do so with a stuffy or ball in his mouth, followed by full body wiggles. He had done well walking on leash, is very patient and knows how to wait and some other basic commands. He is an absolute ANGEL!
I lived with dogs in my previous home, and may get along with your dog! Please speak with your adoption counselor about how to do a slow introduction.
