Wisp may not be the cuddliest cat on the block, but she's got a quiet charm all her own. This beautiful black and white medium-haired gal, complete with a perfect pink nose, is around 8 years old and prefers to keep things on her terms. She enjoys the simple pleasures in life-like curling up in her favorite box for a cozy nap-and while she's not feral, she's also not one for petting or handling. Think of her as the independent roommate who appreciates your presence but values her space.
Wisp recently returned to the shelter due to ongoing medical concerns. She had bladder stones removed in November and has been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease, which will require regular monitoring and a special diet. Because of her medical needs and her hands-off personality, Wisp is best suited for a special needs working cat placement. She must be an indoor/outdoor cat in a safe, secure environment where she can come and go as she pleases.
Wisp may not be the right match for every home, but for someone patient, compassionate, and understanding of her unique needs, she'll be a lovely and low-key companion. If you have a calm property and a kind heart, Wisp just might be the working cat for you.
