Hello! My name is Ashley, I am a 1 year old, spayed female, short-haired tabby cat. I was relinquished to MaxFund March 2025 by no fault of my own, and now I am looking for my fur-ever home!
Being in a shelter has been a big adjustment, and I won't lie-I'm still figuring things out. See, I love people a lot, and when I don't have them near, I get a little anxious. I'm working on it, but change is hard, and I just need someone patient who understands that I miss having a person to call my own. If you stop by my space, you'll hear me calling out to you-I just can't help it! I have a lot to say, especially when I see someone who might be my new best friend. Talk to me gently, give me a little time to feel safe, and you'll see my true colors shine. Once I trust you, I'll rub against your legs, lean into your touch, and soak up all the love I can get. I may need a little extra reassurance right now, but I promise that with patience and kindness, I'll be the most loyal and loving companion you could ask for. Could you be the one to help me feel at home again?
I am not a fan of other pets and would prefer to be an only child. I want all the love to myself!
If you think I would be a good fit for your home, please come to the shelter to meet me! I'm at Meow Manor, the building right across the parking lot from our main shelter. The shelter hours are Sunday - Monday, & Wednesday - Saturday (Closed Tuesday) 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Closed 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM for lunch.
