Hello! My name is Volkennedy (affectionately known as Kenny), I am a sleek 6 year old, neutered male, short-haired cat. I was relinquished to MaxFund February 2025 by no fault of my own, and now I am looking for my fur-ever home!
I have the softest, velvet-like fur and a heart full of love! I'm very affectionate and thrive on attention. I enjoy playtime to stay active, but I also love to relax, cuddle, and soak up all the pets I can get! I love spending time on my cat tower, but once I trust you, I'll climb down to play, cuddle, and be showered with affection. I am still adjusting to the shelter environment, so please go slow with me so I can feel comfortable.
I am not a fan of other pets and would prefer to be an only child. I want to be the center of attention! I would love to have a home of my own.
I have had problems with lip ulcers, now I am ok and medically cleared, I just need to be on hypoallergenic food and monitored for new lip ulcers. Non-plastic food/water bowls are recommended for me!
If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion, please come to the shelter to meet me! I'm at Meow Manor, the building right across the parking lot from our main shelter. The shelter hours are Sunday - Monday, & Wednesday - Saturday (Closed Tuesday) 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Closed 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM for lunch.
