Hello! My name is Babushka, I am a stunning 14 year old, spayed female, long-haired Norwegian Forest cat. I spent my whole life in a loving home until recently. I was relinquished to MaxFund January 2025 by no fault of my own. It took me a little time to adjust, but now that I have my very own space at Meow Manor, I love greeting visitors and soaking up all the affection I can get. Now I am looking for my fur-ever home!
I'm a dignified and gentle lady who enjoys quiet companionship, soft pets, and a cozy lap to snuggle on. Like every princess, I adore being brushed, and if you take the time to pamper me, I'll reward you with my love and gratitude. I'm a resilient, loving, and graceful girl with so much warmth to share. When it comes to food, I may be missing most of my teeth, but that doesn't slow me down one bit-I still enjoy every tasty bite (and wouldn't mind sharing a treat with you). I am a little overweight (over 11 pounds) and need a weight management diet. I would also benefit from some exercise and extra play time. I do have a touch of arthritis in my knee, so please be gentle. Don't worry-I still get around just fine! I just need to be more thin. I would benefit from Cosequin to help my joints. My right eye waters a bit, so a little wipe once a day would help me feel my best. I also need daily brushing since I am a long hair so my fur doesn't get tangled and matted.
I am not a fan of other pets so I would be best as an only child in a quiet calm home.

The shelter hours are Sunday - Monday, & Wednesday - Saturday (Closed Tuesday) 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Closed 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM for lunch.
