Hi! My name is Fuego and I am a 1-year-old shepherd mix. I'm one of 11 lucky dogs who were rescued by some amazing humans on a mission to save us. I was living in a shelter in Los Angeles, where things got really scary due to the wildfires. Luckily, a group of people from MaxFund drove to Los Angeles and then transported us all the way to Denver, where we're now safe and ready for a fresh start. It was a fun road trip!
I was recently returned to MaxFund due to some resource guarding with the young kids in the home. For this reason, I am not able to go to a home with children under 13 years old. I am a bit on the shy side, so patience and love will be key to winning me over! Shelter staff isn't sure how I am with other dogs or cats yet, so definitely let them know if you have those in your home!
