Hello! My name is Mothra, I am a 2 year old, spayed female, short-haired tuxie. I was abandoned and brought to MaxFund November 2024 by no fault of my own, and now I am looking for my fur-ever home!
I am very scared and nervous, I have not yet learned that people are nice and I might hiss at you. I need someone who will be patient with me and give me the time and space I need to feel comfortable and come out of my shell. If you do come to meet me, please go slowly and be gentle, let me approach you. I may open up more over time, once I get used to the shelter environment.
I haven't met any dogs or kids, and this is my first time being around other cats so I am not yet sure how I would do in a home with others. If you have kids, you can bring them to meet me! If you have a dog, the shelter staff can test me with a MaxFund dog and see how I do.

The shelter hours are Sunday - Monday, & Wednesday - Saturday (Closed Tuesday) 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Closed 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM for lunch.
