Hello! My name is Blazie, I'm a 1-year-old spayed girlie, and I've had quite the adventure before coming to MaxFund. I was caught as a stray in 2023 but managed to bust free from a home before being brought to a shelter. Eventually I was caught again and spent a few weeks with fosters before being brought to Maxfund.
Even the first time I was caught, I knew I loved people; it took me a few weeks to understand "indoor cat" speak. I loved following my former foster parents around the house during their routines. Sometimes, I may gently nibble on your hand if I want more pets and attention. Head scritches in certain spots cause me to get a bit sleepy and slightly drooly; it's a new kind of happy place that I recently learned about myself! I will never say no to a sunny windowsill where I can "ekekekekekeke" at all the birds.
Did I mention I love people? The very first time I was allowed full access to my foster parents' house, I slept in their bed in between both of them...and proceeded to do so every night until there was space for me here at MaxFund. Don't you need a bit of additional cozy warmth in bed? I know I do!
I will thrive in a home where I can get a lot of attention and patience; I am unsure of the shelter environment and am more shy here. I'm sure I would open up and show my personality in a home! I may do best as the only cat in a home, and I do not like dogs at all.

The shelter hours are Sunday - Monday, & Wednesday - Saturday (Closed Tuesday) 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Closed 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM for lunch.
