Hello friends! My name is Shaggy, I am a 4 year old, neutered male, short-haired tuxedo. I was transferred to MaxFund from another shelter August 2024, now I am looking for my fur-ever home!
I've been told I'm quite the distinguished gentleman! I'm very affectionate, love folks of all ages, including kids and love to be petted all over. To show my appreciation, I will purr for you like a little motorboat!
I haven't met any dogs or kids, I am ok around calm cats. If you have kids, you can bring them to meet me! If you have a dog, the shelter staff can test me with a MaxFund dog and see how I do.
I do have FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), which means I need to be your only cat or live with other FIV+ cats in your household. For more information, search "FIV Veterinary Partner".

The shelter hours are Sunday - Monday, & Wednesday - Saturday (Closed Tuesday) 9:30 - 4:30, Closed 12:00 - 1:00 for lunch.
