Please be quiet when you enter my room and close the door softy. I will feel most comfortable if you sit down immediately upon entering my room. I want our first meeting to go well. I will likely be in my basket on the shelf or in my hidey bed, but I will quickly approach you. I like wand toys and especially would LOVE for you to gently move the handle of a wand toy under the blanket that's on my floor. Keep your legs and arms away and watch me pounce! I love to play! MaxFund's medical team wants to keep me healthy, so they put me on a prescription to help me safely lose a bit of weight.
If I flop on my back and ask for belly rubs, that means I LOVE YOU. Please give me gentle, light belly rubs for just a few seconds - 3 seconds is good.
I get kinda hangry from 2:00 to 3:30, so it is best to not visit me during that time. I am not myself when I am hungry. I would love for you to come back when I am in a better mood after I eat!

The shelter hours are Sunday - Monday, & Wednesday - Saturday (Closed Tuesday) 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Closed 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM for lunch.
