Hello, bully lovers! I'm Roberta, a 3 year old pittie/American Bulldog mix. Anyone who knows these breeds knows that I am goofy, smart, and strong! One of the staff here even calls me "muscle woman!" I came to MaxFund after a long road trip all the way from a Texas shelter! The shelters down there are really overcome with the number of homeless animals, so I got a ride to Colorado to try and find my forever home. I'm so excited to get out and explore this new state! Since being here, I've already learned how to "sit" and "shake" on cue. I also learned that I love cuddles!
I am an athletic dog who would love lots of mental and physical enrichment, maybe a backyard DIY agility course situation! My favorite thing in the whole wide world is running around and playing fetch in the shelter's private yard, so I would really love having some space to myself! Bonus points if you have a pool I can play in!
I'm not recommended with homes with young kids because of my strength and energy level- contrary to this, I walk pretty decently on leash! Older children only for me, please! I am dog selective; I love puppies and I can play with other dogs but I am unsure about living with certain dogs. If you have a potential brother or sister for me please bring them along when you come to meet me!
Please come down to the shelter to visit me! You'll fall in love right away with my big soulful eyes. Please bring everyone else in the household to make sure we all get along!
