Hello, my name is Indium and I am a 2-year-old chihuahua poodle mix (chipoo for short!). I was rescued with 74 other dogs from a home in Northern Colorado. I am still very scared and have very little socialization.
I may take a while to come around , but so many of my brothers and sisters have already found their forever homes, I think I may be ready for mine. I will take multiple meet and greets to begin trusting you, and I will not be a lap dog or very snuggly for quite some time when you take me home.
I need to go to a home with a backyard and without young children, they would be too much for me, and I am not eligible for apartment living. I need to be around people who will show me love, but let me come to come to them. Patience is going to be key with me.
Do you have any other dogs in the home? Please bring them with you so we can meet and see if we get along! I mean there were almost 200 of us living in one house! I can't imagine it not working out! In fact, going home with a well-socialized dog will be very beneficial to me!
