Hello, my name is Cerium and I am a 3-year-old chihuahua poodle mix (chipoo for short!). I was rescued with 74 other dogs from a home in Northern Colorado.
I need to go to a home with a backyard and without young children, they would be too much for me. I need to be around people who will show me love, but let me come to come to them. Patience is going to be key with me. It will take multiple meet and greets to begin gaining my trust, and if you get to take me home, I will not be a lap dog or very snuggly for quite some time. I know I have lots of love to give, but it may take time. I cannot go to an apartment or a home with small children.
Do you have any other dogs in the home? Please bring them with you so we can meet and see if we get along! I mean there were almost 200 of us living in one house! I can't imagine it not working out! In fact, going home with a well-socialized dog will be very beneficial to me!
I do have my two best friends, Chlorine and Xenon, if you want to adopt all three of us together!
