Hi friends! My name is Otter and I am as cute as my name implies. (Otters are sooo cute!).
Let me tell you a bit about myself. I am a very social 12-year old boy who loves to be near people. I will most certainly be in your lap within minutes of meeting you. I can be a real talker, but I won't keep you up at night, promise! Playing with wand toys and a laser pointer are some of my favorite hobbies. I don't like to brag, but I've been told that if joyfully watching birds and squirrels out of my window was an Olympic sport, I would win the gold medal. Not much fazes me. I am fine around kids and other cats as I previously lived with both. Thanks to the volunteers, I have recently started enjoying walks around the shelter in a harness safely attached to a leash. I get to explore all the nooks and crannies while being my adorable panther self.
I had my right eye removed due to a chronic disease that was negatively affecting me. I am doing so much better since the enucleation! And let's be honest, I look pretty darn cute as a one-eyed panther kitty.
I was brought to MaxFund almost 2 years ago because my guardian was working long hours and felt he no longer had time for me. I was extremely sad to lose my home. I've been here too long and would love to be chosen to be part of a forever family again. Naturally, MaxFund's wonderful staff and volunteers make me feel loved, however there's nothing quite like a forever home with a forever family.
I am diabetic but please don't let that deter you! I need twice daily insulin shots and I eat special food. I take my insulin like a champ and I love food so I'm a very good eater. MaxFund staff will show you how to administer my insulin, super easy.
I'd love for you to come meet me! I'm quite easy to fall in love with, I really am. If you'd like more info about me you can email our Cat Foster Coordinator at fostercats@maxfund.org
