Hello Everyone, Sadey here! I am an Australian Cattle dog mix and the folks at the shelter think I am about 10-years-old. I was originally rescued as a young dog, but my previous owners had a change in their living situation and could no longer keep me, so I ended up at MaxFund.
Everyone will tell you that I am a sweet, loving and loyal pupper. Once I have found my person, I will follow them around anywhere. I love to get belly rubs and cuddles and lay in the sun as much as possible.
I do well with other dogs my size and really enjoy playing with them, so if you already have dogs we should get along splendidly. I will have to meet any potential fur siblings just to be sure we get along. I already know to sit, stop, back, wait and shake! Isn't that impressive! With my new family I would love to continue my training to keep me mentally active. We will also need to work on some behaviors I have picked up over the years.
I would prefer a quiet home and a family who understands my needs as a senior. I also don't like it when people pick me up or touch my back legs. I would love pets anywhere else though! I am available as foster before I can be adopted again, because I was diagnosed with Cushing's Disease and will require medication and further treatment by the medical team at MaxFund.
