Hi... I'm Skimpy. I'm only 2 months old, but I've already mastered the art of hide-and-seek - mostly the "hide" part. I'm what they call a "spirit kitten," which means I'm a little more shy and undersocialized than most kittens my age. Loud noises, sudden movements, and big changes can be a bit scary for me, so I'll need a patient, loving human who understands that trust takes time to grow.
Right now, I might spend my first days (or weeks) in my safe hiding spot, just watching you from afar. But... there's a secret to winning me over: food and play. I can't resist a good churu tube or chasing a wand toy - that's how you'll start to see the real me peek out.
I think I'd really like having another confident kitty in the home to show me that humans aren't so scary and that couches are for snuggling, not just for hiding under. With time, patience, and gentle love, I promise I'll slowly let my little personality bloom - and when that happens, it will be worth every second of the wait.
