Meet Kacie!
Kacie is a 1-year-old Shepherd mix with a big heart, a happy personality, and so much love to give! She came from a wonderful home where she successfully lived with three other dogs and was adored by a family with 10 grandchildren. Needless to say, Kacie knows how to be part of a busy family and absolutely loves her people and her kiddos!
Kacie also spent her days on a working farm and was well trained on an invisible fence. She's smart, eager to learn, and has already had a great foundation in home and family life.
There is one important part of Kacie's story that we want to be upfront about. Her natural prey drive means she has not been successful around chickens or cats-especially animals that run or give chase. Because we want Kacie to succeed in her next home, we will not place her in a home with cats or chickens.
Put her with her people, other friendly dogs, and children, though, and you'll see the wonderful dog she truly is! Kacie is a sweet, playful, affectionate girl who would love a family ready to keep her active, included, and loved.
If you're looking for a fun-loving Shepherd mix who is great with dogs, kids, and her family, Kacie may be your girl!
Kacie's ideal home: A loving family with no cats or chickens, where she can be part of the action, get plenty of exercise and attention, and continue being the happy girl she is.
