This sweet kitten is one of four siblings who were abandoned in a wire crate on the dirt road across from Crossroads. Sadly, this is not an isolated incident. Time and again, litters of kittens have been left in the same area, zip-tied inside wire crates, abandoned in the nearby culvert or on the dirt road in the scorching summer heat. Thankfully, a kind passerby spotted this litter before it was too late.
Given such a heartbreaking start, it's understandable that these kittens needed time to learn that people can be kind. With patience, gentle care, and consistency, they have made incredible progress and are now ready to begin the next chapter of their lives.
