Meet Martini!

His foster family has been fostering Martini for the past 2-3 months, and he has been an absolute pleasure to have in their home. From the moment he arrived, he was comfortable and settled in almost immediately. Martini is a very affectionate, social, and talkative cat who genuinely enjoys being around people.

Martini loves attention and isn't shy about asking for it, whether that's through his constant "conversations," following you around the house, or making what feels like a million biscuits every day. He also has a playful side and enjoys spending time with his toys. One thing that's clear about Martini is that he wants to be part of whatever you're doing and loves being loved.

One of the things that has stood out most to his foster family is how friendly he is with visitors. When they've had one or two people over or a house full of ten guests, Martini has always been fantastic. He seems to view every new person as another opportunity to make a new friend. Whenever someone comes through the door, whether it's a family member returning home or someone meeting him for the very first time, Martini is usually the first one there to greet them. He'll run to the door, "talk" to them, and then flop onto his back with his belly exposed, asking for rubs and attention. On more than one occasion, people have commented that he's more like a dog in that respect because he genuinely loves everyone and wants to be involved with whatever is going on.

Martini is also very food-motivated, which has made him easy to engage with and a lot of fun to care for. In my opinion, he has all the qualities that make a wonderful companion cat.

Based on Martini's personality and the foster's experience fostering him, Martini be best suited to a home where he can be the only pet and have all the attention to himself.

Martini has become a much-loved member of the foster's household, and when he leaves for his forever home, he will be missed greatly. If I could sum him up in one sentence, I'd say he's the kind of cat who quickly makes you feel like he's always belonged there. Whoever adopts him is going to be very lucky.

Like all ACR cats, Martini is up-to date on vaccines and has been treated for fleas and parasites. He is also FIV/FeLV negative and has been treated for crystals in his urine. He requires a prescription diet to ensure the crystals do not come back.

Martini has had a dental surgery where a few teeth were extracted.
