About Me:
Just like the wise, sleek panther from The Jungle Book, my name is Bagheera! I might have started my life as a rugged street cat, but in just a few short weeks, I have proven to be a deeply intelligent, playful, and sweet companion. I am a 1-year-old boy who treats trust like a beautiful partnership-I take a little time to read the room, but once I know you are safe, I am pure joy. I would do best in a quiet household with no young children.

The "Play Tunnel" Grand Prix: I am a high-energy athlete when the wand toy comes out! I love zooming through my play tunnel, pouncing right next to you, and doing triumphant victory loops.
Solo Hunt Extraordinaire: I am a proud, independent hunter who loves catching my toys, giving them a good tug, and playing solo.
Cardboard Box Luxury: Forget expensive cat beds-my absolute favorite spot is a cardboard box lined with a soft shirt or nightdress that smells like my favorite human.
Litter Box Champ: I have perfect bathroom manners and have zero issues using my litter box comfortably in front of you.
Food Lover: I love treats and wet food! I am a food connoisseur and will eat any meds you give me if given with wet food.

The Food Foundation: I have zero resource guarding! I will happily let you put a spoon right into my bowl while I'm eating, and I will even lick liquid treats right off your fingers.
The "Slow Blink" Language: I am a master of the slow blink. It's my favorite way to tell you "I trust you" from across the room.
Respectful Space: Outside of active meal and play times, I like to be the boss of my own personal bubble. I prefer to walk over and choose to sit next to you on my own terms. Once I choose you, I will proudly turn my back to you (the ultimate cat sign of safety), curl up right beside your legs, and groom myself peacefully to sleep.
My Ideal Forever Home
Time to Acclimate: Because of my street background, a new environment will feel very big and overwhelming at first. I will need a dedicated, quiet "safe room" (like a bedroom) with my favorite play tunnel and boxes to settle into for the first few weeks before expanding to the whole house.
A Patient Adopter: I need a family who will respect my invisible boundaries, let me hide when I need to, and use routine-like scheduled feedings and play-to help my confidence blossom.
A Low-Pressure Sanctuary: A quiet home without young children or high energy would suit my thoughtful nature best. I want a human who is happy to just sit on the floor and work, stream TV, or read a book while I choose to creep closer on my own terms.
Like all ACR cats, Bagheera is up-to-date on vaccines and has been treated for fleas and parasites.
