Asha and Dusty are two beautiful sisters who have made amazing progress since arriving in foster care. Though they started off shy, they've each blossomed into distinct little personalities who balance each other out perfectly.

Asha (the cuddly one)
Asha is a gentle, affectionate kitten who loves head scratches, belly rubs, and curling up in your arms with her head in your hand. She may give a little hiss when startled or when you first walk in, but she's all bark no bite and melts the moment she realizes it's time for love (or more importantly, food). Asha is food-motivated, playful, and endlessly curious with caution. She especially enjoys wand toys and will happily flop over for pets once she feels safe. She's the first to trust, the first to purr, and the emotional anchor of the pair.

Dusty (the adventurous one)
Dusty, who started off as the shyer of the two, is brave, silly, and full of personality. She's always the first to explore new spaces and has a habit of finding creative mischief. While she's still unsure about human touch, she's come an incredibly long way, she now stays relaxed around people, accepts pets while eating on a warm lap, and even greets me at the door. Dusty has a big voice, lots of energy, and a hilarious stubborn streak with a diva attitude. She's beautiful, hard to get, and she knows she's worth it. Her favourite activity involves chasing her sister or bouncy balls, bird watching, and laying just near enough to be in your presence while still pretending she doesn't like you. With patience, treats, and calm energy, she'll continue to blossom into a confident, loving cat.

Their Bond
It's clear they truly bring out the best in each other. When one is unsure, the other steps up with confidence. They play chase, mirror each other's grooming, and snuggle up to sleep. They're not glued at the hip but are emotionally intertwined, they comfort and learn from each other.

Ideal Home
These girls would thrive in a calm, patient home that can give Dusty space to trust at her own pace while spoiling Asha with the affection she adores. They love to zoom down hallways, nap in cozy spots, and have settled beautifully into a routine, even sleeping through the night now!

Asha and Dusty must be adopted together.

Like all ACR cats, Asha and Dusty are up-to-date on vaccines and have been treated for fleas and parasites.
