Tetris entered Annex Cat Rescue as a ferocious and protective mom but very quickly settled in and showed her true nature, 100% sweetheart.
Tetris is extremely food motivated and will clean up any food left behind, and she will sneak in and try to steal human food too. No food is off limits. She thinks she is starving. You will need to keep your counters clear with this girl. What Tetris creates in chaos, she makes up for in cuddles. Tetris loves to be pet, picked up, and held. If you hold her in your arms she will rest her head on your shoulder and purr her heart out. Tetris craves human affection and is quite happy being pet all the time. After a life on the streets she can still be a little nervous and may flinch from sudden movements, but as soon as she realizes you are going to pet her, she is all in!
Tetris does well with other cats but does not seek them out for play or cuddles. If you are looking for a playful buddy cat for an existing cat Tetris may not be your girl, she is more likely to teach your cat how to get into cupboards than to engage in play. She does co-exist peacefully with other cats though so she would do well in a home with a friendly cat or on her own as the queen of her domain. She has been introduced to her foster's dog and although she doesn't care for him she mostly ignores him so she would do well in a home with a friendly dog.
Like all ACR cats, Tetris is up-to-date on vaccines and has been treated for fleas and parasites.
