Lincoln is a gentle giant of a cat, a large boy with impeccable manners. He loves affection and if you aren't paying attention to him he will reach out and gently tap you with his paw. He accepts and enjoys forehead kisses and being carried around. Lincoln will give little growls if you are irritating him, which is hard to do, but he never goes beyond that.
Lincoln is very playful and enjoys toys and playtime with his humans. He is very accepting of other cats and if they aren't interested in being friends he ignores them and walks away. He is tolerant of his foster's dog but they aren't friends. He would do well in a home with a friendly and respectful dog.
Lincoln's favourite hobbies are laying on dark coloured stairs in the dark, walking slowly in front of his foster when she is carrying things and can't see him, and begging for treats. He loves being close to his humans and can usually be found in whatever room his humans are in.
Lincoln is positive for FIV and negative for feline leukemia. In 2025, he had surgery to remove several teeth and repair an issue with his eyelids known as entropion. He is up-to-date on vaccines and has been treated for fleas and parasites.
