Meet Sunny: A Spunky, Shy, and Loving Feline Friend!

Sunny is a spirited one-year-old cat, full of personality and charm. Raised feral in a garage, he tends to be shy around strangers but reveals his goofy, playful side once he feels comfortable. This orange ball of energy loves pets, adores catnip, and insists on a clean litter box. Sunny has been litter trained from day one and only has accidents if his box isn't clean enough.

He enjoys a diet of both dry and wet food and is a fan of treats. While he drinks water like any other cat, sometimes boredom prompts him to play in it. Sunny is quite vocal when he's in a playful mood, meowing to his sister and the world around him. He loves to chase, hunt, and zoom around the house.

Building trust with Sunny takes time, but once you have it, he's incredibly affectionate. He loves wrapping himself around his foster mom's legs and asking for cuddles. Though still shy around strangers and other household members, he's slowly improving with continued exposure. Despite his initial nervousness, Sunny has never growled, bitten, or scratched. He may hiss when scared, but it's always just a small, harmless sound.

Sunny has adapted well to his foster mom's sleep schedule, sleeping through the night in her room. His days are a balanced mix of play and rest. While he generally loves his cat carrier, he becomes challenging to manage when it's time for a vet visit.

Sunny shares a strong bond with his sister, Pickles, whose sweet and shy nature perfectly complements his spicy attitude. He gets along well with other cats in the house, initially pushy but quickly adjusting to their body language. He's also fine with the household dog, though sometimes a bit nervous around him.

Given his shy disposition, Sunny would thrive in a quiet, relaxed home without small children. He needs a patient family willing to understand his hesitancy and give him the time he needs to open up and show his true, loving nature.

Like all ACR cats, Sunny has been treated for fleas and parasites and is up-to-date on vaccines.

Sunny must be adopted with Pickles.
