Malu is young, spunky pup with a lot of enthusiasm for everything. "Puddles? Yum! Moving cars? Let's go out to greet them! Is this a leash or a toy?!" But he is a very sweet boy, already knows sit, and responds well to firm, confident commands. He's already become great friends with our volunteers who say he is eager to listen and will do so well once he gets some training! Malu is very affectionate and playful and really fun dog. He loves to go for walks and is looking for someone who will enjoy all this youthful exuberance in their life.
Malu's previous owner shared with us that Malu is a really, really great dog! He was more timid and submissive as a young puppy but as he's gotten older, he has started to gain more confidence! He is now a silly, happy-go-lucky guy, who loves life and will constantly have you laughing. He gets along with other dogs and loves to play with them. He's overly nice with other dogs and always happy to see them, although sometimes he can't take a hint if the other dog is done playing...but that will come with time! Malu is a snuggly, loving and smart boy who already knows a few commands but would benefit from additional training as well. He is great on a leash during walks but is very strong especially when there's a good smell or a squirrel he's chasing after. He doesn't bark often and is a relatively quiet guy in a home environment. He is also potty trained!
If you are looking for a new best friend, please consider Malu. This silly, handsome, wonderful boy is ready and waiting to meet you so apply today!
