Dixie is a sweet and spunky girl. One of her volunteer fans shared that Dixie has a great energy level and that "she is so friendly and excited to go out with you. This is a happy, fun-loving middle-aged lady!" She has been super snuggly and affectionate with her caretakers. Dixie can be a bit protective of her toys and food at times, so a home with no small children and a family who can be proactive about these boundaries would be ideal for her.
