Hi! I'm Spencer! I am a happy go lucky boy. I came to the shelter recovering from an injury and I needed a lot of TLC, but I'm fully recovered and feeling great now though! I am only three years old but I do have hip dysplasia (not caused by my injuries) so I do need a family who can help support my joint health.
Spencer has been in a foster home and they shared that he is "doing fabulous and couldn't be any more perfect! He is a little shy and meets new people very cautiously but once out of his shell, he will shower you with all of his 80lbs of love!! He is very affectionate and a great cuddler!
He is the most patient and gentle boy. He waits for his treats and takes them very gently. He also loves to play with his toys while he enjoys a good nap anytime!
Due to his hip dysplasia, he likes his walks short but is excited and ready for his walks and gives little tippy taps of happiness when you put his harness on. He is 100% house trained and hasn't had one accident at his foster home.
He loves to be by my side and is a constant companion. If you are looking for a perfect and very special boy, he is the one!"
