Meet Barbie! Barbie is a 6-year-old Hound mix with a gentle soul and a heart full of potential. While she may be a bit reserved at first, she just likes to take her time exploring new spaces-usually with her nose! Once she's had a chance to settle in, she's incredibly friendly and loves attention. Barbie enjoys playing with squeaky toys and chasing after balls. She's currently underweight and very food-motivated, we're helping her gain weight on a special diet. Because she can sometimes get a little too excited when taking treats, we recommend a home with children aged 10 and up to avoid accidental nips. Barbie is strong on a leash and would do best with someone who can handle her strength confidently. She is also heartworm positive, but we're covering the full cost of her treatment. This sweet girl hasn't had the easiest life so far, but her best days are still ahead.
