Reintroducing Ziggy. Ziggy is a 2-year-old Pit mix with a heart full of love and a story that showcases his incredible resilience. When he first arrived at our shelter last year, Ziggy was in very poor condition-emaciated, covered in infected wounds, and barely able to stand. Thanks to dedicated medical care and his own fighting spirit, Ziggy made a remarkable recovery and blossomed into the joyful, healthy pup we know today. After his recovery, Ziggy was adopted and spent five months in a home. Unfortunately, he was returned after damaging a sofa when left alone. This behavior is likely due to separation anxiety and can be managed with proper crate training and gradual acclimation to being alone. Ziggy is a social butterfly who gets along well with other dogs and respectful children. He's potty-trained, well-mannered, and thrives on human companionship. His playful nature and affectionate demeanor make him a delightful companion. Ziggy is seeking a loving home that understands his past and is committed to providing the patience and care he deserves.
