Leah is a 1-year-old mixed-breed pup with THE cutest little underbite you've ever seen. Seriously... you'll want to squish that sweet face and shower her with kisses all day long!
This adorable girl is still figuring out the world. The shelter is a big, scary place, and it seems Leah may not have had much opportunity to experience life outside before arriving here. New sights, sounds, and experiences can make her a little nervous, but underneath it all is a bright, loving puppy who is ready to learn.
We're already working with Leah on leash walking and basic commands, and she's catching on quickly! She's incredibly smart, very food motivated, and eager to please, making training a fun and rewarding experience. Her future family should be ready to continue building her confidence and helping her discover that the world isn't such a scary place after all.
Leah appears to have some shepherd in her mix, so expect an energetic, playful girl who's always up for an adventure. She'd thrive with an active family-especially one with older kids or teenagers who would love a four-legged partner for hikes, games of fetch, backyard zoomies, and all kinds of adventures.
Like so many shelter dogs, Leah simply needs a little time to decompress, adjust, and learn that she's finally safe. Give her patience, guidance, and lots of love, and you'll get to watch a timid puppy blossom into an incredible lifelong companion.
Leah is microchipped, up to date on her vaccinations, on heartworm and flea prevention, and will be spayed before heading to her forever home.
