Meet Buckaroo The Rootin'-Tootin' Adventure Pup Looking for His Forever Sidekick!
Every cowboy has a story, and Buckaroo's began wandering the streets of Gulfport all by himself. Nobody knows exactly how this handsome 1-year-old terrier mix ended up homeless, but sadly, it seems he may have been left behind by the only family he ever knew.
But Buckaroo isn't looking back,he's focused on finding his happy ending!
This young guy is packed with puppy energy, enthusiasm, and enough personality to keep you smiling every day. Whether he's zooming around the yard, investigating every interesting smell, or soaking up attention from his favorite humans, Buckaroo approaches life with a tail wag and a can-do attitude.
We're currently helping him polish his leash-walking manners. Like many young dogs, he missed out on some basic training, but Buckaroo is a smart cookie and eager to learn. Give him a little time, and he'll likely be showing off tricks just to earn your applause (and maybe a treat or two).
Buckaroo absolutely loves people and would thrive in an active home. A family with teenagers who enjoy running around the yard, playing games, or going on adventures would be right up his alley. As for cats, the jury is still out ,we just haven't had the chance to see how he feels about feline roommates.
Buckaroo is current on all vaccinations, microchipped, and already neutered. He is also heartworm positive because he wasn't kept on heartworm prevention in his previous home. The good news is that his treatment will be completed through our clinic, and the cost can be divided into three manageable payments.
What Buckaroo really needs now is someone willing to see past his rough start and give him the loving forever home he deserves.
