Sunshine came into our care at HSSM on April 21st, 2025, after being found in Gulfport by one of our compassionate animal control officers. When she first arrived, she was absolutely terrified-and who could blame her? The world had been a scary place. But little by little, this brave girl is starting to find her footing, showing us glimpses of the sweet, soulful pup we know she truly is. Though the shelter life can still feel overwhelming for her, Sunshine has begun to blossom with patience and kindness. She's still learning how to walk confidently on a leash and prefers to take things slow-but with some gentle encouragement (and maybe a little baby talk), she'll warm up and trot alongside you, trusting more with every step. Sunshine's calm nature, petite frame, and gentle demeanor make her a perfect match for a quiet, loving home where she can continue to grow at her own pace. She's up to date on vaccines, spayed, and microchipped.
