Ommin is a sensitive soul. He loves to be around adult humans and enjoys scritches and attention, though small humans make him nervous. He gets along well with other kitties, but a slow introduction is a must so he can get used to being around his new buddies. Friendly dogs are okay too - as long as they are used to living with cats.
This best boy had crystals in his bladder from an untreated urinary tract infection and as a result he is on a urinary diet; he is now on over-the-counter Royal Canin urinary kibble and that is helping him pee like a champion. Give him a large, covered pan, and he is a happy camper.
Ommin was called Shadow in a previous life, and responds to that name. He is a curious, chatty boy and gets a bit too excited on occasion, so expect a love nip now and then from this sweetheart.
Are you looking for a gentle giant who will chat with you and loves company? Look no further! Ommin is ready for his furever home.
If you'd like to take this kitty home, please fill out an adoption application at this link - https://animalalliesrescue.org/cat-application. The adoption fee is $100 and covers all expenses needed to prepare kitties like this one for their forever homes. By the time you meet them, they've already been spayed/neutered (if age-appropriate) and microchipped. They've been checked by a veterinarian and are up to date on age-appropriate immunizations against rabies and FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus & panleukopenia). Some of our cats have even undergone extensive medical care to ensure they're ready for a happy, healthy life with you!
