Hi. My name is Treasure and I'm here with Jewel, my mom and best friend. I want to tell you a little about us so you can figure out if we're the cats you want to share your life with. That's "cats," plural, because we are so closely bonded we will be going to our forever home together. We agreed that I'd tell you our story.
Once upon a time, we were dumped together in the woods. The neighbors of the woods worried about us because coyotes and other animals dangerous to small kitties like us also lived there. So the whole neighborhood rescued us! (We only later found out about the coyotes. Whew! Were we lucky!)
Now we live in a foster home with three cats, a dog, and some people, older and younger. Our foster mom says we get along fine with them all, although we are still trying to figure out exactly what kind of animal the dog is.
Our foster mom thinks we're great, and she says, "These girls are very petite, sweet, bonded kitties with very bright green/brown eyes. They like to cuddle with each other and with people. They both love to roll onto their backs to get pets on their bellies." We also enjoy sitting together, cleaning each other and being brushed. And we're both curious and love to explore.
Even though we're close, we have our own personalities. Like I love toys and Jewel likes to hide sometimes in the cat tree, waiting for a human to come by to pet her.
I love my mom so much and she loves me, but we have room in our hearts for other creatures, like humans, too. Of course, there's more to know about us. Why not come visit to meet us in person?
Please fill out an adoption application at this website-Https://animalalliesrescue.org/cat-application -and choose us, Jewel and Treasure! Our combined adoption fee for both of us is $250 and AARF wants me to tell you that their adoption package covers all expenses needed to prepare kitties like us for our forever homes. By the time we meet, we've already been spayed/neutered (if age-appropriate) and microchipped. We've been checked by a veterinarian and are up to date on age-appropriate immunizations against rabies and FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus & panleukopenia). Some of us have had extensive surgeries, dental work, or other necessary procedures. AARF is committed to getting all of us entirely ready for a happy, healthy, love-filled life!
