It was super easy to identify new arrival FARQUAAD as our Mr October cover boy doggie. Have you seen such a cooooool looking dog? It gets better though. As amazing, unique and head turning as he is, his personality and the pet skills he's ready to add to YOUR home honestly make him the best and total pet package. Found as a very shy stray, he was immediately scooped up by a staff member and went into foster care where he is thriving. We have great intel on him!!
When you meet Farquaad, you'll see he is a little shy/timid but that quickly dissipates as YOU sit and chill and let him check you out. Very polite, submissive, gentle and thoughtful in his approach, our sweet natured friend calmly goes about exploring new areas but ultimately will opt to relax and be near you. Reach out to touch and pet our good friend and take notice of his super soft, almost velveteen coat. It's lovely!! Very well mannered and super on the leash, he's very easy to manage and loaded with charm.
His foster family reports that he's GREAT in their home. With kids, other dogs, cats and pigs to hang out with, he's done an excellent job with all. He can initially be more shy with males (human) but will warm up beautifully. His family notes that he really, really loves hanging out with their 3 kids and that having another dog in his new home will greatly add to his settling in and enjoying his new home/life. He's fine being left alone in the house (assuming another dog is inside) but is anxious when left all alone. He's not a fan of crates. Currently, he sleeps in the bed with his humans, loves playing fetch outside, is tolerant of car rides and while the family 1000% adores him (and he's perfect in their home), still they are looking for a new home for him so they can foster that next dog in need.
