We have enjoyed getting to know ROSCOE. Our handsome friend arrived in fear of his own shadow. We were not sure he had a tail initially as he kept it so tightly tucked but today is a new day and the real ROSCOE has emerged and we're super proud of him. Graced with a warm, welcoming smile and soft and gentle in his ways, he's giving back and we're loving him for it. A teen at 9 mos, we're expecting more play and bounce and perhaps even bigger love from our attractive friend- so be forewarned! Roscoe has done well in doggy play groups and was no doubt much more comfortable and in his element slowly working the 4 legged crowd where he easily found his footing. A modest 38lbs, Roscoe is easy to manage, polite and submissive. We believe he is on the cusp of finding his pet greatness which we can't wait to see!! Come soon and you too can be a part of Roscoe finding himself!
More about me: Do we like ROSCOE? Nope. We ADORE him. We LOVE him! Ask staff and or volunteers and everyone loves this handsome, more chill, charming, loving boy. Arriving very, very scared, he's done a great job settling in and now, is ready to share all of his wonderful-ness with you!! Immediately adding him to our doggy play groups was key in helping him settle in. Even first day in one of these play groups, one would never have guessed that moments before he was cowering in his kennel -struck with fear in his new surroundings. Those days are now but a distant memory and he is all smiles and soft tail wags in his kennel waiting for YOU to discover him. Polite, mild mannered and definitely a bit more quiet when he meets new folks, give him a little patience and leeway and you 2 will discover the happy, wiggly hipped fella that loves and charms us each day. Facebook Update Sept 18: Look who got swarmed!!!
It's our good friend ROSCOE! Roscoe had a fantastic time while visiting our good friends at Tractor Supply Co. He was "all in" for the car ride to the store and even more excited and perfect, as folks came by to meet him in the shopping aisles.
Was he a hit??? He was a rock star. A super star! He was swarmed and loved on and totally in his element. Never overbearing and or pushy, he remained calm, charming, doting and loving. He had the best time. We heard several folks say, "If only I had room." Well, someone has room. Perhaps it's you! Note: Excellent with other dogs. 9 mos old; 40lbs
