Facebook Update Sept 8: Our sweet puppy Sharkboy is living the foster life with coeds at Clemson. He's getting plenty of TLC and quickly settling into his new temp routine. Our friendly, happy faced boy has been pretty shy in meeting males while in foster so his new family will need to laden the males in their home with treats to win him over! Foster Report: Sharkboy (Sharky) is loving it here! All 5 of us girls here are constantly coddling this sweet cuddly boy:) He warmed up to the house and going up/down stairs after a day of having him! We've been trying to potty train him and train him on the crate when we are gone. He's been going potty regularly and has responded well to most other dogs on walks! Thank you so much for checking in! We love having him.
Foster Report Sept 28: Sharkboy is doing amazing! He is literally one of the best dogs I have ever met. He is pretty much fully potty trained and only had a few accidents when we first got him, but he is doing a lot better now. He also learns so quickly, he now sits, and we are practicing lying down, which he has picked up very fast. And he is fully crate trained, he sleeps there at night and sometimes just goes in to chill during the day.
He is a little timid when it comes to other dogs and people still, but once they come closer, he opens up and is very friendly. Our friends also have some dogs, and he loves playing with them. He has been loving the dog park too. I try to take him daily, and now every time I leave the house, he thinks we are going.
We were also told he is shy around men, but we have a lot of guys in our friend group, and he has been doing great around them; he just has to warm up a little. But overall, he is just a big cuddle bug, and we love taking care of him!
