Who's the smartest doggy on the shelter yard?? Well, with the intense summer heat, although it was a tough choice, we had to select DIEGO! This stunning, sleek jacket friend found an ice cream cone squeaky in the parking lot as we headed out for pictures and he quickly picked it up. That's super smart...if not borderline brilliant!! Nicely toting it around and also perhaps feeling a bit of pride and pleasure in finding the cool "treat," it was a real joy to see him enjoying the toy so much. Arriving as a stray, DIEGO is in great shape and he's honestly, just the nicest guy. A mid-size fella (mid 40lbs range), he's very friendly, inviting, polite and seems open to meeting other dogs. He is graced with the sweetest little face and grin and a very well balanced feel and good times vibe. We can see DIEGO beautifully working as a full time companion pet in a variety of home settings. Might YOUR home setting be where he puts his pet skills to their best usage?
