*Sweet but shy and timid. Getting better day by day. Slow and steady wins the heart of this pretty lady! Huge improvements in doggy play group- getting into the thick of things in a very soft, thoughtful way.
Dressed for success with her tall white socks and sleek brindle coat, MAGNOLIA is a snazzy, stellar looking girl! Below all the flash of her beautiful exterior is a girl who is timid and insecure BUT she's improving day by day and working on being her best pet self! Having lived a very challenging pet life thus far (yes, all 6yrs), her human contact has been limited/not very positive and she's had to struggle for basic necessities ie food. Arriving with several other dogs who all had varying degrees of insecurities, Magnolia has greatly benefitted from some one on one staff time and even long weekend time to grow her confidence and her lap skills! Magnolia is kind, gentle and very sweet natured and has the capacity to be a huge snuggle bug once she knows you. YOU will see her kindness immediately when you meet. She still has her darting moments but even on a "first date," she'll nicely come over to introduce herself. Look for that tail to softly start to sway with pleasure! Magnolia did well in her weekend getaway- she was great in her crate (saw it as her safe spot), tolerant of a bath, is still working on housetraining and loved riding shotgun in the car. She's starting to figure out the concept of toys and will start to chase a tennis ball for example but then stop midway as if to think, "And I'm do this because??" LOL. It took some time, but she's really starting to shine in doggy play groups. Initially very overwhelmed, she's now standing tall and proud and softly engaging with others! YES!! The sky is truly the limit for Magnolia and if you are attracted to the underdog and have time and patience to work with Magnolia, she'd LOVE to meet you!!
