You'll find a good friend with LOAF by your side. Arriving a little shy, this most handsome fella truly blossoms when he's loose and running with another like-minded 4 legged. Friendly, social and a face cleaner, Loaf is a very approachable doggy who is polite, mild mannered and ready to softly place his paws in your lap. We can see Loaf getting to work and serving many types of families. Might YOUR family be the right one for him? Please come and check him out today.

More about me April 9: I met Loaf the very day he arrived at Oconee. He was so scared and uncertain, and I had heard he was really timid in his kennel too. Today was a completely different experience. The second he was leashed up he was jumping for joy, and as soon as we got outside he walked right over and leaned his whole body into me with this big sigh! Honestly like he was finally taking a deep breath of happiness and peace! He is so treat motivated and we had the best time in the play yard, me breaking treats and tossing them in the grass for him to sniff out. Toys are still new to him but when I got excited about it he genuinely wanted to try. I definitely think he would thrive having another pup companion! He is so willing, so warm, and SO eager to please. You can just feel how much he wants to connect!

Facebook Update May 21: Could labby boy LOAF be any better!!!  He's in foster and doing great with the kids, the resident dog, cat, chickens, housebroken, crate trained, loves car rides and being part of the active family unit.  Someone NEEDS THIS DOG!  Might it be you??  Click through the super pics and then let us know when you'd like to meet him!
Loaf is doing great! He has been doing great with the kids, cat, other dogs and chickens. He is a very sweet dog and we really hope to see him go to a great home! He is doing great with the house training, we have only had a single accident with him on the first day he was here and it was in a location that our labradoodle had an accident the day prior. We treated the spot with an enzyme cleaner and he has shown no further interest in the spot. He is fully crate trained. No efforts at all to get him to go into the crate during the night or anytime we have to leave him at home. He chooses to rest in the crate during the day at random points.
