*Friendly, polite fella with a touch of fun/silly puppy vibes. Ready to make you his #1 friend! Had a great time on his #2nd play group realizing what all the fun was about. He was "All in!" Meet and greet required for a family with another dog in the home.

I could be the perfect blend of chill, calm and most polite fella beautifully balanced with a silly, goofy, playful side! My new friends enjoyed watching me run around with a candy cane squeaky toy in my mouth coupled with my fast drive-by mini hugs and nudges of love and attention. The next minute, I'm relaxed giving them kisses and making them feel like they are the apple of my eye! Arriving with 2 other doggies, already one was quickly selected to go home and I'm hoping it's my turn next. I've done a nice job settling in and to that end, already I am regularly selected by a volunteer to be the first one she walks on her visits. I hear folks laughing that I'm the "teacher's pet." Hey, that totally works for me as I love getting out and about and love even more the special one on one attention my new friend gives me. If a part time young at heart and full time loving/affectionate fella is to your liking, I think it's time we met! Please ask for me DOS today!
Facebook Update March 4: Come get a DOSE of DOS!!!
Our redheaded wonder DOS is stealing hearts one human at a time. This afternoon, it's his Clemson foster mom whose heart has been stolen and for whom, she gives the most amazing review. Dos was a shorter term foster - he hung out for a long weekend- and oh, what a wonderful job he did!! Arriving with 2 other dogs, already he is a favorite with staff and volunteers alike and now his foster mom and it's time for YOU to please come and meet our cordial 4 legged. Foster update: He is the most lovable dog ever .he just wants to be with you 24/7. Although he is a little skittish he absolutely loves long walks and being outside. He did pretty good in the car but I wouldn't say he necessarily loves it. He is an absolute snuggle who loves to be on the couch, on the bed- just wherever you are. If time allowed we would've loved to keep him longer but it would be fair to him he is AMAZING!! Everyone that met him loved him.
Volunteer Thought Mid Feb: Mr. Dos is truly the most handsome gentleman. He sat so patiently in his kennel waiting for his turn to go out, and once outside he showed off the most perfect little trot on the leash. He walks beautifully and has such calm, polite energy. It didn't take long for him to settle in and start showing his lovable personality.
He takes treats with the gentlest manners I've ever seen and is clearly a sweet, well-mannered boy. I was especially impressed with how nicely he behaved when we walked past other dogs. Mr. Dos carries himself with quiet confidence and kindness, and his adorable wrinkles make him incredibly expressive and hard not to fall in love with. He's the kind of gentle companion who will make someone very lucky.
