It's been a joy getting to know our big friend REX.  Arriving with his lady friend Taffy when their family could no longer care for them, Rex was a bit of a flat lined guy for the first few days but oh,  he's come along marvelously!!   Rex is now in smile and slow, steady tail wag mode.  Already,  we've had him in play groups and he was superb.  Described as gentle/dainty in a group doggy setting,  he's not going to win any awards wrestling and chasing after other dogs but will earn high merit points for politely and calmly going about his business while lightly engaging with his new 4 legged friends.  At over 70lbs,  Rex is a big guy but he's not one to throw around his weight and is pretty easy to manage.  He's not shown much interest in toys thus far and is graced with a more independent feel to him.  He's not kissing and slobbering on us but is certainly starting to come over and give us randomly wet noses and then he's off to explore a new scent or area of our play area.  We're just discovering the very top layer of what Rex has to offer his new family and by the looks of things, he has much to offer as someone's treasured companion pet.  Do check him out today!  You will enjoy him.

Facebook update Feb 1: It's rise and shine time with REX by YOUR side!! Morning folks. Rex is working super hard and bringing a huge level of joy and happiness to his Clemson foster mom. Our most handsome friend arrived with his good friend Taffy (also in foster care), he has his paws crossed you'll consider him to be your new 4 legged friend. Rex has done well in doggy play groups, initially errs on the shy side in meeting humans but beautifully warms up and has done well in the housebreaking area. What's not to love about our big boy?? Please ask about him today!! Note: 4.5 yrs old; 70lbs

Foster Update: He is the most chill dog ever! He has not made a single noise and is the most friendly happy dog we love him!
