I'm quite literally surrounded by smiling faces. The humans are smiling at me. Other dogs are smiling at me. I'm smiling back at them. Guess it's the Smile Effect??? In any event, folks are quick to say I make them happy, they love, love, love my look- especially my super tall, pointy ears and they love my positive/upbeat attitude. Still a teen at heart and on paper at 14mos, I'm your pet ticket to fun and a great time! Sporting a sleek cream coat with snazzy brindle swatches, I'm sporty, wiggly, playful and full of life. I enjoy playing fetch and I think you'll agree I'm pretty good about bringing the ball right to you!! I've done nicely randomly meeting other dogs and no doubt, my cup is 1/2 full. Sit for a spell and I am right there by your side, leaning into you and really digging all the pets and TLC you send my way. I also have a reputation for quite literally climbing right into your lap...yes, all 45lbs of wonderful me so be prepared! How wonderful an experience for both of us, right? More about me Feb 2025: You may recall Lashay from this fall. She was doing an amazing job in foster care, attended 2 Clemson events and finally, she went home...or so she thought! Lashay is back with us because she really needs to be an only dog. She is a strong, hard player and as patient and tolerant as the resident dog was in her temp home, still having her around 24/7 was simply too much!! She was also getting possessive of her person creating a tough situation for the resident dog. Lashay is a great, great girl! She's very friendly, playful and ready to go and do!! If you are currently pet free and looking for a doggy, please consider Lashay!!
Foster update: Lashay loves to play with all people and dogs. She's very friendly. Her favorite toy is her rope, which she loves playing tug with. She enjoys long walks and outdoor activities, but also loves to snuggle up on the couch. She can be very active , or lay for hours depending on your mood. She's very smart and easy to train and loves learning new tricks. Lashay has a lot of love and energy and is looking for someone to be her forever friend.
More about LASHAY: When we first brought this dog home, she was nervous, timid, and shy. I was worried she wouldn't adjust and after her first night here you could tell she was at home. She quickly got comfortable and opened up. She loves being close to people and playing with toys. She likes to get close and put her paws up on you. You can really tell she wants to be loved. She loves being around everyone and her tail hasn't stopped wagging since the first night. She is one of the sweetest girls and would make the perfect family dog. She's always wagging her tail!! I've genuinely fallen in love with this dog and I wish I had the room to keep her!! She's such a playful puppy but also so calm and sweet!! I love her!! She is well behaved, well trained, and very obedient. This dog deserves the world and more and I hope she is able to find that.
