This sleek jacketed, mighty handsome fella was found discarded and has been in foster care while he gets back on his feet and now, he's ready for launching!! An appealing size fella at 43lbs, his foster family has guided him to the most amazing pet skills and while they would love to keep him, their plate is full and more full! Champ has done an amazing job with the 3 other adult dogs in the home (1 female, 2 male) and also the kids ranging in age from 1 - 8 yrs! He is excellent in the home environment and beautifully sleeps in his crate for night times. He really likes his crate and one that's closer to his physical size makes him happy. Champ is very treat motivated (he was super skinny when he arrived at his foster home) and is an excellent "Sitter" and also knows "Down." Champ is a very friendly, likeable guy who just wants to get some love, some play time and make folks smile. Champ would be terrific and thrive in a more busy home. He's not a super energetic dog (moderate energy best describes him) but does enjoy being in the thick of things and part of the family unit.
