I'm a curiosity of sorts but a really good one. Folks love my big blocky head, my suede, tan "jacket" and slightly stubby legs with paws which adorably bow outward. Found as a stray, I've not lost a beat in settling in and every day is a chance for me to mix and mingle with the staff and volunteers while keeping a fun, silly and most goofy eye on the prize of going home. FUN could be my middle name. Oh, but wait. Maybe it's PLAY! In any event, I'm graced with a great disposition, great attitude and boy do I enjoy loving, lapping and hanging out with my peeps. With energy and affection to spare, I'm not the doggy to stuff on the sofa all day to watch Netflix. Load me up in the car! Let's go and do! I'll happily trot right alongside you and egg you on for some solid adventures. I do have some extra umph in my step so I may not always be a limp leash kind of doggy but it will be good as I keep you moving right along. While I had a mild interest in toys during photo time, you'll discover in no time that I crave attention and love interacting and being part of the action. I might just dive into your lap for example so be on the lookout! Shortly after my photo time, I was invited to join in a doggy play group and oh, what fun I had!! I tend to have a more interactive play style and simply running and shoulder butting other dogs really made me happy. I'll share with you, I also love grabbing leashes on other dogs and gently leading them along! LOL. Facebook Update May 19: Scrub a dub! Folks, I got super dirty on my playdate with big, happy doggy boy DOJO sp the volunteers could not wait to get me all cleaned up!! I was filthy!! I'm so super clean now that honestly, it's the BEST time for YOU to bring me home!! My name is HUMMER and I've never met a stranger and I'm excellent with all...male and female dogs...I love my humans...I have a cool body type...long frame, shorter legs and the biggest heart in the county!
