We are enjoying YETI so very much and it warms our hearts to see his goofy, playful side emerge. Yeti is still in the process of "finding" himself and we're super proud of him. With some energy to spare, he's now sharing with us his carefree, silly teen pup side. Don't be fooled by his more stern look on line as there's plenty of good, happy times to be had with Yeti by YOUR side. Arriving paper thin, he was in very rough shape and it was all he could do to just exist. Today, he's added on some much needed pounds and his spirit is on the fast track to a full recovery. While he's not shown much interest in toys, he is nonetheless running and darting around, bow down playing and trotting over to check in on his humans and giving us wet nose nuzzles and some kisses. Yeti is such a delight! Sweet and gentle natured, Yeti has done well in sharing his walks with other dogs and while he does not ask for much, if he could place a request, it might be to please give him a deep massage in his hind quarters. Facebook Update Feb 4: I'm getting my groove back! Folks are saying that I'm looking so much better (I was super thin when I arrived) and that my spirit is in full rebound mode! I'm now front/center in my kennel in full hula dance mode hoping YOU notice me! I'm a very attractive doggy (Yes, I am biased but I can hear folks saying it all the time!) all dressed for success in my sleek white coat and then my light sky blue eyes, just really set me apart and complete my unique look. I'm friendly but can still have some shyer moments, but those are getting fewer and fewer. Sweet and kind natured, I've had a rough start to life but I'm patient, forgiving and ready to give it all to my new family. Please ask for me YETI today. Note: 11mos old; boxer mix
Facebook Update March 5: How can you NOT smile when you see these lovely, lovely dogs out and about and having such a grand time? It was not that long ago when they arrived super thin and incredibly shy. Today, they are huge jumping beans of joy hoping you will notice them in our kennel area. Take them out for a walk and feel their love and complete joy of having full bellies, sun on their shoulders and love and TLC from the volunteers. Your adventure will continue when you let them loose in a play yard and watch the action amp up by adding rope toys to the mix. Who are these great doggies??? YETI and SHADOW!
