Who's the happiest boy? It has to be Anakin! This boy smiles from ear to ear. He has a full body wag when he see's you. That's enough to make you smile from ear to ear too! A perfect size, he will fit in anywhere. Looking for a hiking buddy, Anakin's the boy. Need a buddy to run errands with, Anakin can do that too! Anakin needs someone to love and care for him. Can that be you?
Count on me for a non-stop wagging tail, endless smiles and a tongue that begs to reach out and kiss my human friends! My name is ANAKIN and rest assured there is nothing...zilch..zero..nada...shy nor boring about goof pie me! Still a teen at 11mos, I have the energy and puppy wiggles that you would expect from someone my age. I am a self starter, self entertainer and play time and people time and doggy time all equate to good times for me! Arriving with several other dogs, I understand a group setting and have also done well in meeting new dogs at the shelter. I'm a little bit up front with all of my new friends- albeit human and or doggy- so I'm open to a little guidance to make me immeasurably perfect. I thrive being the center of attention and can never get enough lap time, draping time, hugging time, wrestling time and or playing time. Although it might be tough to see on line, my coat certainly gives a deep nod to the Weimaraner breed- sleek, shiny and a cappuccino color- plus my face has a very subtle mask which perfectly frames my light greenish/grey eyes. I'm ready to get the party started and I'd surely love for YOU to be my most wonderful fulltime party attendee. Sound about right?? Thx for tuning in. ANAKIN
Facebook Update July 16: Have you met ANAKIN?? This handsome hunk is beyond STUNNING folks!! His coat reminds us of a Weimaraner - a lovely, sleek, taupe in color and just look at that huge smile!! Anakin is bubbly central and loaded with fun, silly, party vibes. He's done well out on walks with other dogs and he is such a goofy ham!! You'll have a blast with Anakin by your side so come soon and see how wonderful he would be with you!! Notes: 11 mos old; 43lbs; bully mix- Loaded with personality and puppy goodness!
Facebook Update July 23: Can't you see yourself RIGHT BY ANAKIN's side?? Folks, this guy is such a super cool, enticing fella. The camera went wild for his great looks but even more importantly, capturing all the fun and full bodied personality he's got all wrapped up (and eager to share with YOU) in his compact, sleek jacketed body. Still a teen on paper and at heart at 11mos of age, Anakin had a more challenging start to life but has really blossomed under our care and is so much fun! He's front and center in his kennel now waiting and hoping you'll select him soon to head on home. Sound like a good deal??? Don't let him down and come meet him today!
Facebook Update July 24: Did we save the best for last today? We will let YOU be the judge but you'll likely agree this is a totally amazing update for ANAKIN. Anakin lucked out in heading off site first thing this morning to go and do with his new human friend Anna! Anakin is tucked in for the evening at the shelter, but would surely love for you to come and meet him tomorrow. Think on it, will you??
Anna's Grand Adventure with ANAKIN:
I took Anakin out of the shelter for the day, and what a day it was! At first, he was a little confused about getting in the car, but once he settled in, he was perfect the entire time. We made our way to the botanical garden, and Anakin was wonderful on the leash. He didn't bark once, just a super sweet, happy, go-with-the-flow guy.
He absolutely loves being with people. If you crouch down, he can't resist coming over to lean on you or rest his head on your knee. His friendly and sweet nature is there every second you spend with him. He just wants to be around you, sharing his love.
After our long walk, we headed home where Anakin showed his chill side. He loved just laying around next to me with his toys, completely content and happy to rest. Anakin is a friendly, sweet, and happy dog who just wants to be your loyal companion.
Facebook update Sept 4: WHOA! Folks! How can it be ANAKIN is STILL with us??? Our Mr GQ himself has been with us for over 2 months now and he and we and YOU should be in agreement that it's time for him to go home! A few bullet points on our good friend:
**Has been on 2 tv news shows. Yes 2! He did a great job on both sets!
**Great in the car. Will nicely stretch out and relax and enjoy the ride.
**Excellent at off site events. He's our Ambassador...of sorts...as we can count on him to work a crowd and new environments like the pet pro that he is!
**Loves sharing his time and space with other dogs. Very playful, interactive fella.
**Very loving, affectionate guy. He's a kissy, lap draper who craves all kinds of attention and belly rubs.
Anakin is keeping his head up and his heart open to MEET you and head home. Please say you need to meet our 1 yr old friendly faced fella today.
Facebook Update Sept 6: Morning Peeps! It's me ANAKIN. I know you just heard from me but I really need to find my happily ever after. I'm a really good boy. A good dog. I tick off all the desirable qualities folks look for in a pet and honestly, likely exceed many of them! A few qualities that make me such a standout as a pet below. Please ask for me today...I really need your help. THANK YOU!!
**Never met a stranger. Bouncy, playful fella happy to share playdates and walks and general time with other dogs.
**Super working in public spaces. I've been to a couple off site events and nicely worked the crowd of people and other dogs. You may recall, I was also on the Zip Trip Tour a week ago here in Clemson and also interviewed on the Fox News Set several weeks ago. I was a real star...very brave and outgoing and happily worked the crowds.
**A bit over a year old so you pretty much know my personality and skill set. I'm great in a car, ready for hiking or walks or really whatever suits YOU! I'm snuggly, cuddly and just an all great doggy.
I have my whole life ahead of me and hope, hope, hope you'll opt to share your life with mine!!
