It's a pony! It's a dog! It's MAXX!! Oh boy folks!! You are in for one super, super size treat in meeting Maxx. Now, not everyone could pull off having their name spelled with the double "X" but honestly, it perfectly suits this smooth operating lovebug!! Tipping the scales at a whopping 117 lbs, Maxx is incredibly easy to manage, never throws his weight around, is super polite and slowly mozeys around. At 8 yrs of age, he's now a bit wobbly in his hip/back leg area but he's always up for a slow paced, easy walk. The epitome of a gentle giant through and through, Maxx is a real statement maker due to his size so be prepared for folks to come over and swarm you with Maxx by your side. Maxx takes everything in great stride and would welcome all the attention and fuss like the perfect gentleman that he really is. A kind, peaceful and very gentle soul, Maxx shows great promise for being the perfect couch potato. As one of his volunteer friends offered up, " Couch + Snacks = Maxx is set!" Hurry on by and check out this super special fellow, won't you? Note: Maxx is an OHS alum. Sadly, his human lost his home so Maxx is now looking for a new home.
Facebook Update Jan 12: Our big hunky friend MAXX is in foster care and he's doing terrific!! Our 8yr old Mastiff mix is kind and sweet natured and what a soft soul. Please consider him for your new best friend.
Foster update: He has been such a good guest here! So gentle and friendly to our Toddler and other dogs. He lights up when Christian gets home from work and wags his tail so fast. We're happy to help foster ??
